1. Information Thea May Process

To operate as a Discord bot, Thea may process information provided by Discord and by users during interactions, including:

• Discord user IDs, usernames, mentions, server IDs, channel IDs, and message metadata needed to respond to commands.
• Messages or command inputs sent to Thea, including prompts used for AI conversations, personality features, and roleplay.
• Server setup choices, such as channels where Thea is allowed to talk.
• Bot performance information such as latency for the !ping command.
• Blacklist records, which may include a Discord user ID, blacklist duration, and moderation reason.

2. How Thea Uses Information

Thea uses information to:

• Respond to slash commands and message commands.
• Generate AI conversation responses and personality-based replies.
• Support roleplay, AI conversations, personality behavior, and voice-related features.
• Remember server configuration needed for setup and channel behavior.
• Enforce blacklist restrictions and protect the bot from abuse.
• Maintain, debug, sync, restart, and improve bot functionality.

3. AI and Message Content

When you interact with AI-powered features, your messages or prompts may be processed to generate a response. Do not send sensitive personal information, passwords, financial details, private documents, or information you do not want processed by the bot.

4. Information Thea Stores

Thea may store only information needed for bot functionality, moderation, setup, and abuse prevention. Based on current functionality, this can include setup configuration and blacklist data such as user ID, duration, and reason. Some features may temporarily process message content to produce responses.

5. Third-Party Services

Thea operates on Discord and may use external services or APIs to provide AI, voice, hosting, or database functionality. Information processed through Discord is also subject to Discord's own terms and privacy policy.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when needed to operate Thea, comply with legal obligations, enforce safety rules, prevent abuse, or provide support.

7. Data Retention

Configuration and blacklist data may be kept for as long as needed to operate Thea, enforce restrictions, or maintain server settings. Temporary processing data may be kept only as needed for the feature to work, troubleshooting, or abuse prevention.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect stored data, but no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You use Thea with the understanding that Discord bot systems and external services carry inherent security risks.

9. Your Choices and Requests

You can stop using Thea by no longer interacting with it or by removing it from your server if you have permission to do so. For access, deletion, correction, blacklist appeals, or privacy questions, contact us through the support options below.

10. Children's Privacy

Thea is intended for use within Discord communities and is not directed at children below the age required by Discord. Server owners are responsible for ensuring their communities follow Discord's age and safety rules.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Thea's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. Continued use of Thea after updates are posted means you accept the updated policy.
